Returns and Exchanges

We do not offer returns, nor exchanges for change of mind. In instances of product fault or defect, see Manufacturer’s Warranty. Please contact us if you have any concerns via email at hello@flashtag.com.au

Compliance

Please check your local regulations to ensure Flashtag® is compliant in your State or Territory.

Securing Flashtag®

It is the individual’s responsibility to install the Flashtag® securely and at a safe distance away from the vehicle. Flashtag® takes no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by being inadequately or poorly secured. Attached Flashtag® as recommended below.

Care Instructions

We anticipate Flashtag® will move, bend and change its shape slightly with prolonged use and environmental impacts. If Flashtag® goes out of shape, just lay it on a flat surface in the sun and it will regain its original shape. Ensure Flashtag® is secured every time you hit the road.

If cleaning is required, use a damp cloth and light pressure. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials which may cause scratching.

Loss of Flashtag®

The team at Flashtag® takes no responsibility for any loss caused by being inadequately or poorly secured.

Shipping

All Flashtag® will be sent via Australia Post standard shipping with tracking. This can range from 3-10 days for your delivery to arrive.

Manufacturer's Warranty

We are proud to offer a 6 month manufacturer’s warranty covering all products sold by Flashtag®. This warranty verifies that our products meet the highest standards for domestic and commercial use. Anyone who has purchased Flashtag® is covered under this warranty.

Please retain a copy of your order confirmation as proof of purchase. You will require this in order to make a warranty claim, without this proof of purchase we reserve the right to reject any claim. Please note that the warranty is for the original purchaser only and is not transferable upon any resale.

Warranty covers defects in the manufacturing workmanship and/or materials of any Flashtag® safety flag. Warranty does not cover the following :

  • Item preference and/or change of mind.

  • Failure to secure Flashtag® securely. Refer to Securing Flashtag®.

  • Failure to follow the Care Instructions.

  • Abnormal or mis-use (i.e. use for any purpose other than the intended use).

  • Damage to the product due to physical abuse, e.g. subjecting the product to unrealistic strain, force or abrasion which causes defects.

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures for a period of time that causes the materials to wear or permanently deform.

  • Any claim made by anyone other than the original purchaser.

The warranty starts on the date of delivery of the items and lasts until the end of 6 months from that date.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a claim under this warranty, please email us with a brief written description and photo of the problem or condition to Flashtag® at hello@flashtag.com.au. Include proof of purchase, such as your order number or a dated sales receipt.

We reserve the right to require photographs, further information or descriptions, or to physically inspect the items prior to accepting a particular claim under this warranty.

Any evidence we receive regarding the potential warranty claim, including the product itself, will be examined by the Flashtag® team. We will then decide, at our reasonable discretion, whether your claim is covered by the warranty or not. If the claim is successful, we will replace and ship your new item to you. Flashtag® reserves the right to offer you a replacement product, should your item be discontinued. Flashtag® will cover the shipping expenses of successful warranty claims. The warranty period does not restart, but rather continues from your original purchase date.

This warranty does not automatically give you the right to a refund. The warranty only covers replacements for successful warranty claims.
